Record Pace For Canadian Crush
OTTAWA - Jan 27/11 - SNS -- Canadian canola crush maintained its record setting pace through December, with crush exceeding a half million metric tons (MT) for the fourth month in a row.
Statistics Canada reports oilseed processors crushed 553,561 metric tons (MT) of canola in December, up from both month earlier and year earlier levels.
Oil production totalled 243,497 MT while meal production amounted to 312,472 MT.
