Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jan 11/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For the rest of today and Thursday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Strong Wind Warning is current for the South East Coast south of Port
MacDonnell.
Grape Growers in all districts are advised that forecast conditions are
conducive to an outbreak of Downy Mildew.
An Advice to Sheep Graziers is current for Thursday.
A Flood Watch is current for the North East Pastoral, Flinders and Riverland
districts on Thursday.
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For

SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Northwest Pastoral north of about
Coober Pedy, the Northeast Pastoral, as well as over and east of the ranges.
Areas of rain developing over the Northeast Pastoral this afternoon, becoming
heavy at times northeast of about Marree during the evening. On Thursday, rain
areas with isolated thunderstorms will extend southwards to be east of a line
from Oodnadatta to Adelaide, with heavier falls closer to the eastern border.
Patchy rain possible east of a line from Coober Pedy to Cleve to Kingscote.
Isolated light drizzle about the coastal areas today, clearing during the
afternoon. Isolated showers developing about western coasts on Thursday. Mild to
warm, hot in the far north in areas not affected by rain. Light to moderate
southerly winds, tending moderate to fresh northwesterlies in the far southeast
today.
