MELBOURNE - Jan 9/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Monday: WARNING SUMMARY: A Strong Wind Warning has been issued for the Far West, West, South Central and South East Coasts and Gulf Waters. Grape Growers in all districts are advised that conditions from Monday to Thursday are conducive to an outbreak of Downy Mildew. SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For Enquiries go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au A Flood Watch is current for the North East Pastoral district on Thursday. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers and thunderstorms over the Pastoral districts, becoming scattered east of Leigh Creek Monday afternoon. Isolated showers and thunderstorms on and east of the ranges today, extending to remaining districts north of about Ceduna to Adelaide to Mount Gambier on Monday, with thunderstorms becoming scattered east of Adelaide during the afternoon. Isolated showers further south. Mild about the coast, warm to hot inland. Moderate to fresh south to southeast winds, strong at times about the coasts.
