MELBOURNE - Jan 7/11 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Saturday: WARNING SUMMARY: SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray. For Enquiries go to www.waterforgood.sa.gov.au Grape Growers in all districts are advised that conditions from Monday to Wednesday are conducive to an outbreak of Downy Mildew. A Strong Wind Warning has been issued for the Far West and West Coasts for Saturday. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers and thunderstorms west of about Mount Gambier to Adelaide to Leigh Creek today, chiefly in the west, extending to most districts on Saturday except the Northeast Pastoral. Showers scattered in the morning over the southern agricultural area. Showers and isolated thunderstorms clearing over areas south of about Renmark to Tarcoola Saturday evening. Warm to hot with light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, ahead of a moderate to fresh southerly wind change in the west, extending slowly eastwards overnight and Saturday. Milder over most of the agricultural area on Saturday.
