Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 31/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

WARNING SUMMARY:
SA Department for Water has issued a Flood Watch for the River Murray.

A Strong Wind Warning has been issued for the Far West and West Coasts.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Isolated showers and thunderstorms south of about Coober Pedy to Leigh Creek,
except over the Lower South East. Thunderstorms mostly clearing the agricultural
area by afternoon. Mild about southern coasts with areas of cloud, grading to
hot to very hot over the Flinders and Pastoral districts. Moderate southwest to
southeast winds over the agricultural area and West coast district, with
northeast to southeast winds further north. Winds freshening near the coast from
mid afternoon.
