Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 26/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough is moving across central New South Wales. The trough will continue moving towards the northeast on Monday, bringing unsettled conditions to many districts. Conditions will clear from the west behind the trough during Monday as another high moves across from the west, bringing a somewhat cooler and less humid air mass to the region.
Forecast for the rest of MondayFine and partly cloudy in the southwest. Showers and rain with isolated thunderstorms in the northeast, with heavy falls likely near the Queensland border at first, easing to showers later. Isolated showers elsewhere, clearing from the south. Southwest to southeast winds extending throughout, fresh and gusty near the coast.Tuesday 28 DecemberIsolated showers in the northeast, tending scattered in the far northeast. The chance of showers about the central coast and adjacent ranges. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 29 DecemberIsolated showers in the northeast, tending scattered near the Queensland border. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Southeast to northeast winds, tending westerly in the southern inland.Thursday 30 DecemberIsolated showers in the northeast, tending scattered near the Queensland border. The chance of showers about the southern and central coast. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere.
