tropics, Strong NE/SE winds about the NE tropical coast. Moderate to fresh E/SE

trough. Rain and isolated thunderstorms continuing over the southern tropics
with heavy falls. Showers and thunderstorms generally across the tropics.

near the trough with isolated thunderstorms. Some heavy falls expected through
the Darling Downs and the SE coast. Isolated afternoon showers following the
inland trough, fine in the far west. Little change in the tropics. Rain and
showers continuing about the central coast and the Wide Bay region. Strong winds
developing about the NW coast of Cape York Peninsular.

persisting. Showers and thunderstorms continuing in the tropics, rain and
thunderstorms over the interior near the trough with moderate to heavy falls.
Isolated afternoon showers west of the inland trough. Rain easing on the SE
coast with strong winds continuing. Winds easing about the coast north of Weipa.
Outlook for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

response to a southern high entering the Tasman Sea. Rain areas start moving
back west over the interior. Rain easing to showers over the SE region as winds
ease. By Thursday, the inland trough continues to move west with rain areas
reaching western districts. Showers generally about the east coast and
thunderstorms across the tropics. By Friday, little change from Thursday.
