Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 20/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Flood Warning for the Gascoyne River Catchment.
Forecast for Tuesday
Far southeast Pilbara, eastern Gascoyne, western Interior, central and eastern
Kimberley, and the northern Goldfields: Isolated thunderstorms and showers.
Showers becoming scattered with moderate to heavy falls possible in the western
Interior and adjacent parts of the Gascoyne and Goldfields.
Remainder of the Goldfields, east of the Central Wheatbelt, east of the Great
Southern, Southeast Coastal and western Eucla: Isolated showers near the south
coast, areas of rain away in the remainder extending throughout by evening.
Remainder of the SW Land Division: Isolated showers in all but the north of the
Central West, clearing by evening.
Forecast for Wednesday
North and east Kimberley, eastern Pilbara, western Interior, northeast Gascoyne,
far north of the Goldfields" Isolated thunderstorms and showers, scattered in
southern parts in the afternoon.
Remainder of the southeast Gascoyne, west and southern Goldfields, inland
Southeast Coastal and western Eucla: Areas of rain.
Remainder of the southern half including southern and central Gascoyne and
excluding the Interior: Isolated showers inland from the west coast, although in
the Southwest district in the morning.
