MELBOURNE - Dec 18/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters between Kalbarri and Walpole for

Forecast for Saturday  evening
Southern Gascoyne, northern Goldfields, southern Interior and northern parts of
the SW Land Division: Rain, with moderate to heavy falls and some flooding.
Fresh to strong and gusty E'ly winds.
Far NW Gascoyne and western Pilbara: Isolated showers.
Remainder of the northern half of the state: Scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms, with some moderate to heavy falls expected in the Gascoyne and
Kimberley with some flooding.

West Pilbara and far NW Gascoyne: Isolated showers.
Remainder of the northern half of the state, including the southern Gascoyne,
northern Goldfields, northern Central West and far northern Central Wheat Belt:
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, with some moderate to heavy falls
and flooding in the Gascoyne, far northern Goldfields, Kimberley and northern
Interior. Fresh E'ly winds through the Gascoyne, northern Goldfields and Central
West.
Remainder of the Central West, Central Wheat Belt and Lower West: Isolated
showers developing in the afternoon.
About southern coastal parts east of Walpole: Isolated morning showers.
