MELBOURNE - Dec 17/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Flood Watch for coastal streams between Exmouth and Kalbarri as well as the
Murchison River catchment.
Gale Warning for coastal waters Carnarvon to Kalbarri.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters between Carnarvon and Windy Harbour.
Forecast for Saturday
A band of rain across the southern half of the Gascoyne, northern Central West,
northern half of the Goldfields and the southern Interior, with moderate to
heavy falls and strong winds. Conditions gradually easing during the day.
Isolated showers and thunderstorms north of the rain band, tending scattered
over the Kimberley, Pilbara and northern Gascoyne with some moderate falls.
