MELBOURNE - Dec 15/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning for coastal parts of the northwest between Onslow and
Carnarvon, including Exmouth, Coral Bay and Cape Cuvier.
Flood Watch for coastal streams of the Gascoyne and Central West districts.
Fire Weather Warning for the parts of the inland Pilbara.
Gale Warning for coastal waters Cape Preston to Kalbarri.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Kalbarri to Cape Leeuwin.
Forecast for Thursday
West Pilbara and northwest of the Gascoyne: Rain and isolated thunderstorms.
Damaging winds and heavy falls with flash flooding possible, mainly on the
coast. Heavy falls expected.
Remainder north of Jurien Bay: Isolated thunderstorms and showers north of
Kalbarri, extending throughout in the afternoon and evening. Showers and
thunderstorms tending scattered in central and western Gascoyne in the
afternoon, moderate falls possible. Showers tending scattered about the central
and west Pilbara coast.
About the south coast near Albany: Isolated light showers developing in the
afternoon or evening.
