Warning Summary at issue time Moderate Flood Warning for the Murray River Upstream of Lake Hume. Moderate To Major Flood Warning for Rural Areas for the Castlereagh River Downstream of Coonamble. Moderate To Major Flood Warning for the Macquarie and Bell Rivers. Minor To Moderate Flood Warning for the Bogan River. Moderate To Major Flood Warning for the Mandagery Creek at Eugowra, the Belubula River at Canowindra, for the Lachlan River at Cowra and Downstream. Minor To Moderate Flood Warning for the Queanbeyan River and Minor Flood Warning for the Molonglo River and Murrumbidgee River at Mt Macdonald. Final Minor Flood Warning for the Molong Creek at Molong. Moderate Flood Warning for the Murrumbidgee River at Gundagai and Downstream. Minor To Moderate Flood Warning for the Murray River Downstream of Hume Dam. Minor Flood Warning for the Bokhara River at Goodooga. Minor To Moderate Flood Warning for the Warrego River. Minor Flood Warning for the Paroo River. Flood Watch for the North West and Central West Districts of New South Wales and the Hunter Valley. Severe weather warning for flash flooding for the Mid North Coast, Upper Western, Northern Tablelands, Central West Slopes & Plains, Hunter and North West Slopes & Plains forecast districts. Strong wind warning for New South Wales waters between Cape Byron and Yamba. Strong wind warning for New South Wales waters between Wooli and Norah Head. Strong wind warning for New South Wales waters between Montague Island and Gabo Island. Weather Situation A low pressure trough is slowly moving east through northeastern New South Wales as a cold front moves across the southern Tasman Sea. During Friday the trough will move to the far northeast and weaken as a high pressure system moves southwest of the Bight extending a ridge to the west of the state. During Saturday and Sunday the trough will weaken further and move over the Tasman Sea as the ridge strengthens throughout the state. Forecast for the rest of Friday Isolated morning showers in the southern inland then partly cloudy. Isolated late showers and possible thunderstorms on the north coast and ranges. Rain, showers and thunderstorms elsewhere gradually contracting northeast, local heavy falls. North to northwesterly winds in the northeast, southeast to southwesterly winds extending through the remainder. Forecast for Saturday Rain areas and isolated thunderstorms in the northeast, easing. Isolated showers along the south and central coasts and adjacent ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. West to southwesterly winds inland, and southeast to northeasterly winds along the coast. Forecast for Sunday Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms in the far northeast. Isolated showers along the southern border. Mostly sunny elsewhere. West to southwest winds inland, and southeast to northeasterly winds along the coast. Forecast for Monday Isolated showers along the coast and adjacent ranges. Partly cloudy inland.
