Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 7/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Wednesday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Flood Watch has been issued for the South Australian Agricultural Area
A Flood Warning has been issued for the Torrens River.
Locust Movement Advice: Weather conditions early Wednesday in the Flinders, Mid
North, Riverland, Murraylands and Upper South East may be conducive to southward
movement of locusts and possibly into districts further south.
Grape growers in all districts are advised that conditions overnight Tuesday are
likely to be conducive to an outbreak of Downy Mildew.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued.
Squall Warning has been issued.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Isolated showers and gusty thunderstorms tending to scattered over agricultural
areas and extending to southern pastorals this evening. Areas of rain developing
over central and eastern districts this evening, contracting east and clearing
during Wednesday morning. Scattered showers and thunderstorms contracting to
east of Woomera to Adelaide early Wednesday morning and to the northeast of the
state during Wednesday. Isolated showers to follow, contracting to coastal
districts Wednesday evening. Local heavy falls are possible with thunderstorms
and rain. Mild in the south, grading to hot in the north on Wednesday. Moderate
to fresh northeast to northwest winds, ahead of a southerly wind change west of
Port Lincoln, extending to Central districts late this evening and to the far
northeast late Wednesday evening.
