Forecast for the rest of MondayScattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the west and about the divide. Hail and local heavy falls possible with thunderstorms. Warm and humid with moderate east to northeasterly winds inland. Fresh to locally strong easterly winds near the coast. Forecast for TuesdayAreas of rain with local heavy falls and scattered thunderstorms developing over western districts. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms developing over central parts but only isolated showers and thunderstorms in the east. Mild to warm and humid with freshening northeast to northerly winds. Forecast for WednesdayWidespread heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms extending from the west in the morning through central parts in the afternoon to reach most eastern areas at night. The rain clearing later in the west. Mild to warm and humid with fresh to locally strong northerly winds, turning cooler south to southwesterly over the west, reaching central districts later in the day. Forecast for ThursdayWidespread heavy rain in the east with local thunderstorms, easing from the west and clearing from the far east late in the afternoon or evening. Isolated showers over remaining southern areas. Mostly sunny over the northwest. A mild day with drier south to southwesterly winds extending throughout. Forecast for FridayIsolated showers on and south of the divide, scattered near the coast.
