Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 6/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Tuesday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning.
A Flood Watch has been issued for the South Australian Agricultural Area.
Locust Movement Advice: Weather conditions overnight Monday and early Tuesday in
the Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands and Upper South East may be
conducive to southward movement of locusts and possibly into districts further
south.
Grape growers in all districts are advised that conditions on Monday and Tuesday
nights are likely to be conducive to an outbreak of Downy Mildew.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Isolated showers and thunderstorms, increasing to scattered showers and
thunderstorms over the agricultural area and southern pastoral districts during
the afternoons. Showers and thunderstorms becoming areas of rain during the
evening, particularly over eastern districts during Tuesday evening. Warm to hot
with moderate to fresh northeast to northwest winds, shifting southerly in the
far west this evening then extending across remaining western and central
districts by late Tuesday.
