Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 5/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Forecast for the rest of SundayDrizzle patches over Gippsland. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the western ranges. Isolated showers or thunderstorms possible elsewhere across the ranges and over the northeast. Warm and humid with generally light to moderate southeast to easterly winds, fresh to locally strong near the coast.
Forecast for MondayLocal morning fog. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly about western districts and across the ranges during the afternoon. Local heavy falls possible with thunderstorms. Early drizzle patches over Gippsland. Warm and humid with light to moderate northeasterly winds, tending fresh to locally strong easterly near the coast.
Forecast for TuesdayAreas of rain with local heavy falls and isolated thunderstorms developing over western districts. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms developing elsewhere during the afternoon. Mild to warm and humid with freshening northeast to northerly winds.
Forecast for WednesdayAreas of rain and isolated thunderstorms easing in the west later in the day. Locally heavy falls, mainly about central districts and the ranges. Mild to warm and humid with fresh northerly winds, turning cooler south to southwesterly over the west, reaching central districts later in the day.
Forecast for ThursdayAreas of rain with local heavy falls and isolated thunderstorms over eastern districts, clearing from the west. Isolated showers over the south. Mostly sunny over the northwest.
