Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Dec 1/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Forecast for the rest of ThursdayScattered showers and thunderstorms with locally heavy falls tending to be more isolated after dark. Mild to warm and humid with light to moderate north to northeasterly winds.
Forecast for FridayScattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly about the ranges and in the south. Locally heavy falls likely in the afternoon. Mild to warm and humid with light to moderate north to northeasterly winds and afternoon coastal sea breezes.
Forecast for SaturdayScattered showers and isolated thunderstorms about the eastern ranges. Isolated showers and possible thunderstorms in most other areas, chiefly in the afternoon. Warm and humid with light northeasterly winds and afternoon coastal sea breezes.
Forecast for SundayIsolated showers and possible afternoon thunderstorms in both the east and west but mostly fine through central areas of the State. Remaining warm to very warm and humid with moderate northeast winds tending southeast in the south and east, and freshening along the coast.
Forecast for MondayScattered showers and isolated thunderstorms developing in the west and reaching central regions late in the day. Isolated showers in the east. Warm and humid with mainly moderate northeasterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Friday.* Calls to 1300 numbers cost around 27.5c incl.
