Queensland in the next few days.

northeast Coral Sea will deepen slightly bringing moderate SE to NE winds across
the state, fresh along the east coast and tending N'ly in the southwest ahead of
an approaching surface trough and moderate S'ly change. Isolated showers about
the east coast and adjacent inland. Isolated showers and thunderstorms about the
inland tropics, Cape York Peninsula and Gulf Country, tending to rain areas and
isolated thunderstorms in the west and southwest under the influence of the
upper trough. Fine about the central and southeast interior.

strengthen near Vanuatu. Moderate SE to E winds along the east coast, tending E
to NE about the eastern inland and moderate S'ly west of a surface trough moving
into central western Queensland. Isolated showers about the east coast and
adjacent inland with isolated showers and thunderstorms over Cape York
Peninsula. The upper trough will cause a band of thundery rain areas and
isolated thunderstorms through most remaining western and central parts,
clearing the southwest in the evening.
