MELBOURNE - Nov 24/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayAreas of rain, mainly over central districts, contracting to eastern districts later in the day. Local heavy falls possible, mainly over central districts. Isolated thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon. Warm and humid northerly winds, although milder southwest to southerly winds developing over the west. Forecast for FridayScattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening. Mild to warm and humid northerly winds, although milder southwest to southerly winds extending through central districts. Forecast for SaturdayAreas of rain and isolated thunderstorms. Local heavy falls. Generally mild and humid. Fresh northerly winds at first, but cooler westerly winds gradually extending from the west. Forecast for SundayRain and isolated thunderstorms contracting eastwards. Scattered showers to follow in the south, isolated north of the divide.
