USDA Overlooks Beans on Latest Food Aid Tender
KANSAS CITY - Nov 23/10 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 11,120 MT, compared to 9,430 MT last year.
Within the bean complex, the USDA is mostly buying colored beans, with purchases down 160 MT from last year's 9,430 MT level.
