MELBOURNE - Nov 11/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Friday: WARNING SUMMARY: A Strong Wind Warning has been issued for all South Australian Coastal Waters. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued. Grape Growers in all grape growing districts are advised that conditions during Friday and Saturday may be conducive to an outbreak of Downy Mildew. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated showers and gusty thunderstorms extending over western parts of the State this afternoon and evening, tending to patchy rain during Friday morning. Patchy rain extending east across remaining parts of the state by late Friday evening and becoming areas of rain in the east during the afternoon and evening. Isolated thunderstorms east of about Coober Pedy to Kingscote on Friday becoming scattered in the northeast during the afternoon and evening. Warm to hot days with moderate to fresh northerly winds shifting milder fresh and gusty southwesterly in the west during this afternoon and evening then extending across the state during Friday to reach near Moomba late Friday evening.
