Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 4/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Forecast for the rest of FridayEarly fog patches, mainly near and south of the ranges. Isolated showers in the far east during the morning, extending to near and north of the ranges during the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms possible over the northeast. Dry and mainly sunny near the coast. Moderate southeast to easterly wind, fresh and gusty at times along the coast.
Forecast for SaturdayIsolated showers and the chance of thunderstorms about the northeast and the central ranges. otherwise a mild to warm and mostly sunny day. Mainly moderate northeasterly winds, freshening in the west during the afternoon.
Forecast for SundayScattered showers and isolated thunderstorms extending from the west to reach eastern districts in the evening and tending to rain at night. Mild to warm with fresh to locally strong northerly winds turning cooler westerly over western districts later in the day.
Forecast for MondayRain areas contracting to the east during the morning. Isolated thunderstorms over the east. Isolated showers over the southwest during the morning. Cooler west to southwest winds extending from western districts to the east in the afternoon.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Friday.* Calls to 1300 numbers cost around 27.5c incl.
