Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 3/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers on and south of the ranges, contracting to the east during the morning or early afternoon. Fine and partly cloudy in the north. Cool with moderate southerly winds tending southeasterly later in the day and locally freshening along the coast.
Forecast for FridayIsolated showers in the far east and possibly developing across the ranges in the afternoon. Otherwise fine, mild and mostly sunny. Moderate southeast to easterly wind, locally fresh on the coast.
Forecast for SaturdayGenerally fine and mild to warm, just the chance of afternoon showers in the northeast. Mainly moderate northeasterly winds, freshening in the west during the afternoon.
Forecast for SundayScattered showers and isolated thunderstorms extending from the west to reach eastern districts in the evening and tending to rain at night. Mild to warm with fresh to locally strong northerly winds turning cooler westerly over western districts later in the day.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Thursday.* Calls to 1300 numbers cost around 27.5c incl.
