Cool to mild and partly cloudy with light to moderate southwest to southerly winds. Forecast for ThursdayFine apart from morning fog patches in Gippsland. A mild to warm and mainly sunny day with light wind tending moderate north to northeasterly. Afternoon sea breezes about the Gippsland coast. Forecast for FridayCloud increasing from the west. Warm to hot with strengthening north to northwesterly winds ahead of a cooler southwesterly change reaching central areas at night. Rain areas near and following the change, extending eastwards during the afternoon and evening. The chance of thunderstorms in the northeast during the afternoon. Forecast for SaturdayCloudy with areas of rain contracting to the east, scattered showers to follow. The chance of isolated thunderstorms in the east.
