Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 26/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers extending to the east, mainly over southern and mountain areas. Isolated thunderstorms possible over the east during the evening. North to northwesterly winds shifting west to southwesterly.
Forecast for WednesdayIsolated light showers over southern and mountain areas contracting to the east and clearing later. Cool to mild and partly cloudy with light to moderate southwest to southerly winds.
Forecast for ThursdayFine apart from morning fog patches in Gippsland. A mild to warm and mainly sunny day with light wind tending moderate north to northeasterly. Afternoon sea breezes about the Gippsland coast.
Forecast for FridayCloud increasing from the west. Warm to hot with strengthening north to northwesterly winds ahead of a cooler southwesterly change reaching central areas at night. Rain areas near and following the change, extending eastwards during the afternoon and evening. The chance of thunderstorms in the northeast during the afternoon.
Forecast for SaturdayCloudy with areas of rain contracting to the east, scattered showers to follow. The chance of isolated thunderstorms in the east. Southwest to southerly winds, extending slowly eastwards and strengthening in the west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Wednesday.* Calls to 1300 numbers cost around 27.5c incl.
