Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 23/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning Summary at issue time
Minor Flood Warning for the Murrumbidgee River at Narrandera and Downstream.
Strong wind warning for New South Wales waters between Port Stephens and Point Perpendicular.

Weather Situation
A cold front is moving across northeastern New South Wales. Rain areas and isolated thunderstorms ahead and near the front, isolated clearing showers behind and cooler south to south wet winds. A weak low pressure trough will develop off the north coast tonight or early Monday. Another weak cold front is expected to move through the state during Tuesday and Wednesday
Forecast for the rest of Sunday
Mostly sunny in the west and partly cloudy on the south coast. Rain areas or isolated showers and thunderstorms elsewhere. Southwest to southeast winds extending throughout.
Forecast for Monday
Isolated showers in the east, scattered at first on the far north coast., contracting to the northeast. Southeast to northeast winds near the coast, tending light and variable inland.
Forecast for Tuesday
Isolated clearing showers in the northeast and isolated late showers in the southeastern inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northeast to northwest winds near the coast, tending northwest to southwest inland.
Forecast for Wednesday
Isolated showers on the south coast and on adjacent ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. South to southeast extending along the coast from the south. Light winds inland.
The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Sunday.
