Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 20/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers about the northeast ranges clearing. Mostly clear with light to moderate northerly winds.
Forecast for FridayIsolated showers spreading from the west during the afternoon to reach most district by night. Warm to hot with moderate to fresh north to northwest winds shifting cooler west to southwesterly during the afternoon over western and central areas and freshening over the southwest. Isolated thunderstorms possible about the northeast ranges and developing near the change. Scattered showers to follow the change in the south.
Forecast for SaturdaySouthwesterly change extending throughout during the morning. Isolated showers, scattered near the change in the south, contracting to the east and then mostly clearing. Isolated thunderstorms about the eastern ranges during the afternoon and evening.
Forecast for SundayIsolated showers about the northeast ranges during the afternoon and early evening. Cool with light to moderate southerly winds.
Forecast for MondayIsolated showers and thunderstorms about the northeast ranges during the afternoon and early evening.
