Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 15,950 MT
KANSAS CITY - Oct 20/10 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 46,880 MT, compared to 44,020 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are up 750 MT at 1,750 MT versus 1,000 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is down 2,130 MT from last year's 7,880 MT.
