MELBOURNE - Oct 14/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Friday: WARNING SUMMARY: Severe Weather Warning. Gale Warning for all coastal waters except the Far West Coast, where a Strong Wind Warning applies. Advice to Sheep Graziers for the Northeast Pastoral, Flinders, Mid North, Central, Murray and South East districts for today and Friday. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Areas of rain and isolated thunderstorms over the pastoral, Flinders district and most of the northern agricultural area this evening, contracting to the Northeast Pastoral by Friday then clearing by midday Friday. Local heavy falls possible. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms developing elsewhere, with possible small hail south of about Port Augusta. Mild to warm with moderate northerly winds ahead of much colder, strong and squally southwest to southerly winds, reaching gale force in parts of the pastoral districts and about southern coasts, extending from the west to be throughout early Friday morning.
