Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers over the southwest. Rain areas elsewhere, but clearing from the west during the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms over the north and east, slowly contracting eastwards. Some moderate to heavy falls about the eastern ranges. Generally cool with southwest to southerly winds gradually extending throughout. Forecast for ThursdayRain and isolated thunderstorms in the far east at first. Isolated showers over the remainder but showers increasing in the west at night. Cool to mild with moderate northwesterly winds. Forecast for FridayShowers, tending to rain areas about the northeast. Isolated thunderstorms with hail in the west. Snow developing down to 800 metres. Cool to cold with strong and gusty south to southwesterly winds. Forecast for SaturdayScattered showers on and south of the divide, tending to rain areas at first about the northeast ranges, Isolated showers over the northern plains. Snow down to 800m, contracting above 1400m by evening.
