MELBOURNE - Oct 6/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Thursday: WARNING SUMMARY: A Gale Warning is current for the South East Coast south of Cape Jaffa. A Strong Wind Warning is current for the Gulf Waters, South Central Coast and South East Coast north of Cape Jaffa. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the pastoral and Flinders districts, gradually contracting northeast to clear late Thursday evening. Isolated light showers south of about Adelaide, increasing to scattered showers about the Lower South East until late this evening. Morning fog patches over the southern agricultural area and early frost about the ranges and central Eyre Peninsula. Cool in the south grading to mild in the north with fresh southwest to southeast winds, strong near southern coasts at first, easing by Thursday.
