Solid Rise in Soybean Residuals
WASHINGTON - Sep 30/10 - SNS -- Old crop soybeans stored in all positions on September 1, 2010 totaled 151 million bushels, up 9% from September 1, 2009, according to the USDA's stocks in all positions report.
Soybean stocks stored on farms totaled 35.4 million bushels, up 1% from a year ago. Off-farm stocks, at 116 million bushels, are up 12% from last September. Indicated disappearance for June - August 2010 totaled 420 million bushels, down 8% from the same period a year earlier.
