Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update
MELBOURNE - Sep 20/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Warning Summary at issue time Minor Flood Warning for the Bogan River at Dandaloo. Minor Flood Warning for Rural Areas along the Murray River at Torumbarry Weir and Barham and the Edward River at Deniliquin. Gale warning for New South Wales waters between Merimbula and Gabo Island. Strong wind warning for New South Wales waters between Broken Bay and Merimbula. Weather Situation A low pressure trough is expected to linger over the northeast generating rain periods or showers until the end of the business week. Mostly fine weather is expected across the western and southern districts under the influence of the persistent ridge of high pressure. Forecast for the rest of Monday Areas of rain in the northeast. Fine elsewhere. Southwest to southeast winds. Forecast for Tuesday Isolated showers in the northeast with rain areas on the north coast and northern ranges and slopes. Early fog, mostly over the central and southeastern parts. Early frost on the southern ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southwest to southeast winds. Forecast for Wednesday Isolated showers over most of eastern half apart from the southeast, tending scattered in the northeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early fog, mostly in the southeast. Early frost on the southern ranges. Southwest to southeast winds. Forecast for Thursday Isolated showers in the northeast tending scatted on the far north coast and ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southwest to southeast winds. Forecast for Friday Isolated showers in the northeast tending scatted on the far north coast and ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southwest to southeast winds.
