MELBOURNE - Sep 7/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For Wednesday. WARNING SUMMARY: Strong Wind Warning for the West, South Central and South East Coasts and Gulf Waters south of Cowell to Sellicks Beach. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms over the Northwest Pastoral district, extending east and turning to areas of rain later in the day. Isolated showers elsewhere, becoming patchy rain over central and eastern districts in the evening. Isolated thunderstorms possible west of Yorke Peninsula and Kangaroo Island. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the north. Northeast to northwest winds freshening from the west and become strong at times near the coasts, ahead of a moderate southwest change about the western border around midday, reaching a line Coober Pedy to Kingscote towards midnight.
