MELBOURNE - Sep 7/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Wednesday: WARNING SUMMARY: Minor Flood Warning for the Gawler River. Strong Wind Warning for the Far West, West, South Central and South East Coasts and Gulf Waters south of Cowell to Sellicks Beach. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Patchy rain in the northwest extending southeastwards to reach a line Port Lincoln to Port Pirie to Moomba by midnight and across the remainder of the State on Wednesday. Isolated thunderstorms in the far northwest, extending south and east to reach Leigh Creek and western coasts of Eyre Peninsula Wednesday evening. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the north. Northeast to northwest winds freshening from the west and become strong at times near the coasts, ahead of a moderate southwest change about the western border midday Wednesday, reaching a line Giles to Port Lincoln late Wednesday evening.
