Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 3/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

For tonight and Saturday:
WARNING SUMMARY:
Severe Weather Warning.
Flood Warning for the Upper Onkaparinga and Upper Torrens Rivers.
Flood Watch for the Northeast Pastoral, Flinders, Mid North and Mount Lofty
Ranges.
Storm Force Warning for the South East Coast with a Gale Warning for the West,
South Central and Gulf Waters and a Strong Wind Warning for the Far West Coast.
An Advice to Sheep Graziers.
SOUTH AUSTRALIA:
Areas of rain and isolated thunder with thunderstorms tending scattered east of
Coober Pedy to Cleve. Rain and thunderstorms contracting east this evening and
clearing to the east by early Saturday afternoon, though rain continuing over
the South East district. Isolated showers following the rain, scattered over the
agricultural area and more frequent about the ranges, easing by Saturday
evening. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh northeast to southeast winds
turning southwesterly in the west later today and extending throughout on
Saturday. Southwesterly winds strengthening about western coasts this evening
and extending to most parts on Saturday. Winds possibly reaching gale force over
agricultural areas during Saturday, then easing from the west from late morning.
