MELBOURNE - Aug 31/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Israelite Bay to the SA Border.
Forecast for Wednesday
Eastern Gascoyne, Goldfields, eastern parts of the SW Land Division, the Eucla
and the southern and central Interior: Areas of rain and drizzle, with some
moderate falls. Isolated thunderstorms possible over the far eastern Gascoyne,
northern Goldfields and the Interior.
Remainder of the SW Land Division and the southern Gascoyne: Isolated showers
over all but the Lower West district.
Forecast for Thursday
Far southeastern Gascoyne, central and northern Goldfields, far northeastern
parts of the Central Wheat Belt, the northern Eucla and the southern and central
Interior: Areas of rain, with some moderate falls. Isolated thunderstorms
possible over the Interior.
Remaining parts of the Eucla, southeast Gascoyne and southern and eastern SW
Land Division: Isolated showers, contracting to the south coast in the evening.
Far northeast Kimberley: Isolated afternoon and evening showers.
