Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 27/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers on and south of the divide, more widespread near the coast and falling as snow above 1200 metres. Partly cloudy with possible showers in the north. Southwesterly winds, moderating from the west.
Forecast for SaturdayMorning frost in the northeast. Isolated showers in southern and mountain districts, locally scattered during the morning. Cool to cold and mainly cloudy with light to moderate southwesterly winds.
Forecast for SundayAreas of inland morning fog and frost. Isolated morning showers about the coast, otherwise fine and partly cloudy. Cool with generally light winds.
Forecast for MondayAreas of inland morning fog and frost then fine and mostly sunny throughout. Cool to mild with light to moderate northwesterly winds.
Forecast for TuesdayEarly fog and frost in the east. Patchy rain developing in the west and over the ranges. Cool to mild with increasing cloud and a freshening north to northwesterly wind.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EST Saturday.* Calls to 1300 numbers cost around 27.5c incl.
