Flood Warning for the Macintyre and Belubula Rivers. Severe Weather Warning for the Southern Tablelands, Central Tablelands, Illawarra, South Coast, and Hunter districts. Sheep Graziers Warning for the Riverina, South West Slopes, Southern Tablelands and Central Tablelands. For the latest warning information please check the Bureau's web site www.bom.gov.au/weather/nsw Current Weather Situation and Future Developments: A low pressure system to the east of Tasmania is moving slowly away across the Tasman Sea, while a cold front sweeps across southern New South Wales. This front is maintaining gusty westerly winds and bringing some shower activity to areas on and west of the tablelands today. Behind this front, a high pressure system, currently near Perth, will drift eastwards to be above southeast Australia by late Saturday. During this time winds will ease, while the stabilising effect of this high should see any remaining showers clear up early Saturday. No significant precipitation can be expected from Sunday through to Tuesday as the high remains dominant, although parts of the coastal fringe may see the odd shower. The next cold front appears likely to affect the region mid-week. Forecast for Friday Partly cloudy in the northwest and near the coast and adjacent ranges. Isolated showers elsewhere, chiefly on the western slopes of the southern and central ranges. Snow on the Alps. Fresh to strong west to southwesterly winds, locally reaching gale force in the southeast. Forecast for Saturday Isolated clearing showers on western slopes of the ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early frosts on the slopes and ranges. Southwest to southeasterly winds. Forecast for Sunday The chance of showers about the central coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frosts on the slopes and ranges. South to southeasterly winds. Forecast for Monday Partly cloudy in the southeast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frosts on the slopes and ranges. Southeast to northeasterly winds. The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Friday
