Forecast for FridayIsolated showers on and south of the divide, more widespread near the coast and falling as snow above 1000 metres at first, rising to 1200 metres later. Partly cloudy with possible showers in the north. Cold and mostly cloudy with fresh to strong southwesterly winds, reaching gale force in West and South Gippsland at first, easing later in the west. Forecast for SaturdayMorning frost in the northeast. Isolated showers in southern and mountain districts, with possible morning snow above 1300 metres. Cool to cold and mainly cloudy with light to moderate southwesterly winds. Forecast for SundayAreas of inland morning fog and frost.
