MELBOURNE - Aug 19/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Friday: WARNING SUMMARY: A Severe Weather Warning is current for the South East district. A Gale Warning is current for the South Central and South East Coasts. A Strong Wind Warning is current for the Gulf Waters. An Advice to Sheep Graziers is current for Kangaroo Island and the South East district. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Scattered showers over the southern agricultural area, becoming isolated Friday evening. Isolated thunderstorms and small hail over the South East district until midnight. Isolated showers over the northern agricultural area and far southern pastoral districts contracting to the northern agricultural area on Friday then clearing in the evening. Patchy rain over the far northeast gradually contracting northeast to clear during Friday morning. Cool with fresh to strong northwest to southwest winds, reaching gale force about southern coasts, gradually easing from the west overnight.
