MELBOURNE - Aug 16/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
For tonight and Tuesday: WARNING SUMMARY: A Strong Wind Warning has been issued for all Coastal Waters for Tuesday. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Isolated light showers contracting to southern coasts this evening, then clearing. Cold overnight with morning frost and fog in the east. Areas of rain developing in the far northwest during Tuesday morning, extending southeast to be west of Leigh Creek to Renmark to Robe late evening. Possible isolated afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms in the far west on Tuesday. Mild to warm in the northwest, cool to cold elsewhere with moderating southwest to south winds turning light to moderate east to northeast overnight. Moderate to fresh northeast to north winds on Tuesday strengthening in the west ahead of a fresh west to northwest change in the far west during the afternoon and evening with areas of raised dust in the Northwest Pastoral.
