MELBOURNE - Aug 12/10 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Gale Warning for coastal waters Shark Bay to Jurien Bay.
Gale Warning Walpole to Israelite Bay  for Friday.
Strong Wind Warnings for remaining coastal waters from Carnarvon to SA Border.
Forecast for Thursday
SW Land Division and adjacent Gascoyne: Areas of rain extending throughout the
Gascoyne and into the west Pilbara, Goldfields and western Eucla during the day.
Rain tending to scattered showers and isolated squally thunderstorms throughout
most of the SW Land Division from the west during the day.
Forecast for Friday
SW Land Division: Scattered showers in southern districts and the Lower West,
easing in the Lower West by the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms in the eastern
Great Southern, SE Central Wheat Belt, and the Southeast Coastal districts
during the morning. In the remainder isolated showers contracting to the coast
by the afternoon.
SW Gascoyne, and western Pilbara: Isolated morning showers.
Goldfields: Isolated showers, increasing to scattered showers in the south with
isolated thunderstorms.
Eastern Pilbara, remaining Gascoyne, Interior, and the SW Kimberley: Areas of
rain contracting eastwards during the day.
Eucla: Areas of rain tending to scattered showers by the afternoon with isolated
thunderstorms in the west.
