Summer Trading Doldrums in LentilsVANCOUVER - Jul 24/10 - SNS -- The summer trading doldrums were felt in lentil markets during the past week, with many European buyers in holiday mode and many northern hemisphere market participants also in beach mode. Though anxiety over the status of the Canadian crop has eased, markets are keeping a watchful eye on the weather and crop status reports. As the week got underway, roughly 75% of Saskatchewan's lentil crop was rated good to excellent, with 19% fair, and 7% poor or worse.
