Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 9,960 MT
KANSAS CITY - Jul 22/10 - STAT -- Opening season demand from the U.S. government for peas and lentils for shipment as food aid in 2010-11 is down sharply from last year.
Tenders for shipment from origin during September total just 1,730 metric tons (MT) of lentils and 8,230 MT of split and whole yellow peas.
