USDA Monthly Bean Invitations Totals 3,000 MTKANSAS CITY - Jul 22/10 - STAT -- The total quantity of dry edible beans covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders for the first month of the 2010-11 marketing year totals 3,000 metric tons (MT), compared to 3,490 MT for movement from origin in September of 2009. Demand for the opening month of the coming marketing year once again focussed on pinto beans, with the USDA seeking offers of 2,250 MT, down from 3,490 MT last year.
