Continued Tender Activity Helps Pea Price

VANCOUVER - Jul 9/10 - SNS -- North American field pea markets finished the week's trading little changed.

Canadian traders worried about the development of this year's crops and were pleased to see India's state trading companies tender for more yellow peas and desi chickpeas during the past week.

For their part, U.S. traders were kept busy by U.S. government food aid demand. The net result ewas the latest seeded estimates for the U.S. had little impact on markets.
