U.S. Soybean Stocks Down 4%

WASHINGTON - Jun 30/10 - SNS -- Soybeans stored in all positions on June 1, 2010 totaled 571 million bushels, down 4% from June 1, 2009, according to the USDA.

On-farm stocks totaled 233 million bushels, up 3% from a year ago. Off-farm stocks, at 338 million bushels, are down 9% from a year ago.

Indicated disappearance for the March - May 2010 quarter totaled 699 million bushels, down 1% from the same period a year earlier.
