Poor Indian Demand Slows Myanmar Pulse Demand

VANCOUVER - Jun 29/10 - SNS -- Pulse exports from Myanmar maintained their slow pace in May, reflecting a significant decline in buying interest from India, according to data assembled by the U.S. agricultural attache for the country.

Matpe accounted for 46% of the total exports, followed by Mung bean 39% and Toor Whole (Pigeon pea) 4%. Shipments to India, the largest buyer, accounted for 39% of total exports, followed by China with 38%.
