Edible Beans Anticipate USDA ReportsVANCOUVER - Jun 25/10 - SNS -- With Canada's seeded area estimates under its belt, markets are now looking toward the June 30 seeded area estimates from the USDA for a sense of the North American situation. This left markets little changed over the week, as reflected in a three point decline in the spot market index for U.S. origin beans to 1061 points. By contrast, the spot grower bid index was up two points at 1002. Unlike pulses grown mainly in Saskatchewan, Statistics Canada edible bean area estimate is seen as a strong representation of what farmers ended up planting.
